ABOUT AVLUX
AVLUX was founded in 2000 to provide comprehensive and user-friendly end-to-end Internet
solutions for businesses and academic organizations. Due to
his many years of experience working in computer programming, Andrew
vonderLuft had been asked by some entrepreneurial
friends about hosting for their businesses. His research
led to the formulation of the business plan for AVLUX.
Andrew has been developing applications since the mid 1980s.
Being a linguist by nature and training, he has used many languages
ranging from Ruby to COBOL to Java to C to PHP to Perl... on Mac, OS2,
Windows, and Linux. Being a scholar of biblical languages and the classics,
he derives particular satisfaction in helping academic organizations
like BiblicalGreek.org,
and other “light” businesses like his own, enhance their success through
the Internet.
“AVLUX” is derived from the Latin “
Adventat Lux” — “the Light is coming.”

...the setup is top notch, and the kind of service you get is unrivaled. When I first had my account set up, there were a few tweaks I needed to get everything set up. Most all of which were fixed near immediately. ... more than anything, the reason I choose AVLUX is that you feel like someone's watching out for your code, but no one's looking over your shoulder. There are pros and cons with going with one of the smaller companies, but this one is largely pros.
